Mahila Samriddhi Yojana: The Delhi government, led by the Bhartiya Janta Party, launched the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana on Saturday, a monthly allowance scheme for women. This welfare program aims to provide a monthly allowance of Rs 2500 to every woman in Delhi.
During the launch event, BJP National President JP Nadda announced the Delhi Cabinet’s approval of Rs 5,100 crore for implementing the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana. He also congratulated Chief Minister Rekha Gupta for this initiative.

How To Applying For The Scheme
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that the government will soon launch a dedicated portal for women to register for the scheme. Details regarding the required documents for registration will be provided upon the portal’s launch.
Accessing Delhi Government Services
Many current schemes and services in Delhi require applications through the E-District Portal. To apply, you must register on the portal with a User ID and Password. These credentials are necessary to access and apply for various services offered by the Delhi government.
E-District Portal Registration
Step 1: Visit the E-District Portal – Click on the “New User Registration" tab under “Citizen Corner." – Select “Aadhaar Card" as the document type. – Enter your Aadhaar Number and the Captcha Code. – Tick the Consent box and click “Continue."
Step 2: Completing the Registration Form
– Provide your details: Name, Gender, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth, and Spouse’s Name (if married).
– Enter your complete address, email ID, and mobile number.
– Enter the Captcha Code and click “Continue to Register."
– You will receive an Access Code and Password on your mobile.
– Enter these details along with the Captcha Code, then click “Complete Registration."
– Your User ID and details will be displayed
– Save this information for future use.
– Your login password will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Logging In To The E-District Portal
To apply for Delhi government schemes or services, such as modifying a driving license, obtaining a marriage certificate, or applying for a caste certificate, you need to log in to the E-District Portal.
Steps to Log in:
– Visit the official website: https://edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/
– Click on “Login & Apply" under “Citizen Corner."
– Enter your User ID and Password.
– Fill in the Captcha Code and log in.
