'Khud Ko The Lord Bol Raha Hai': Rohit Sharma's Cheeky Interaction With Shardul Thakur Goes Viral
Rohit Sharma and Shardul Thakur's banter on the eve of their match has gone viral.

Mumbai Indians shared a video of the interaction where Rohit Sharma was seen having a chat on the field with LSG’s Shardul Thakur and the mentor and former MI man, Zaheer Khan, ahead of their clash tomorrow.

Thakur, when he saw Rohit, delivered a cheeky comment. He said,"Rohit Sharma ek hi jan ho dekhne aate hain, The Lord. (Rohit Sharma comes to see only one person, The Lord).
Rohit was also seen chuckling at the cheeky reference to his nickname. In fact, Thakur had mentioned that it is the Indian skipper who had created this name for the all-rounder.
Thakur came in as a late replacement for LSG’s Mohsin Khan, who was ruled out of the season due to injury. He has been in fine form since coming in and has been the side’s choice to open the bowling attack. So far, he has taken a total of six wickets in three games, with his best performance coming against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he picked up a four-wicket haul to help them win their first game of the season.
Rohit, on the other hand, has struggled to get going in this season with the bat. Opening the batting for MI, he has only scored 21 runs in the three games played so far. The five-time champions will hope that Rohit can get back to scoring the big runs for his franchise to take them back in the title picture after finishing rock-bottom in the previous season.
But MI’s batting coach, Kieron Pollard has backed the Indian veteran to come back stronger and get himself going with the big runs.
“I am sure we will be singing his praises when he comes and he gives us that big score and then we will be on to the next hot topic," said Pollard during the press conference on the eve of the match against LSG.
