Four Noida Schools Get Bomb Threats, Classes Resume After Safety Check

Four schools in Noida received bomb threats on Wednesday, prompting authorities to deploy police and a bomb disposal squad, according to officials. Noida Police stated that the schools were thoroughly searched, but nothing suspicious was found, and classes resumed shortly after, as reported by PTI.
The threats were sent via email, and the cyber team is currently investigating the matter.

Parents rushed to the schools upon hearing of the threats and attempted to take their children home, but the police reassured them that the situation was under control.
Noida’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sumit Kumar Shukla, told PTI that the four schools—Step The Heritage School, Gyanshree School, and Mayoor School—received bomb threats via email at 8:30 am on Wednesday.
“After that, a police team, fire brigade, bomb squad and dog squad rushed to the schools and checked the school premises. No suspicious item was found in any school and all places were normal," he added.
Earlier on Tuesday, two private schools in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore city as well as a school in Karnataka received bomb threats through emails following which students were evacuated from the premises. All three cases later turned out to be a hoax, police said. Two cases were registered against unidentified persons for the bomb threats in Indore schools.
