RBSE Class 12 Business Studies Exam Cancelled After Question Paper Found Same As Last Year

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has cancelled the class 12 business studies exam conducted on March 22 after discovering that the question paper was a repeat of the previous year’s. This decision was made following numerous requests from students.
The RBSE announced the cancellation adding that an inquiry will be set up and the person responsible for setting the question paper will face consequences. As of now, the board has not released a new date for the class 12 business studies exam. Students are advised to monitor the official RBSE website for updates.

“We get four to five sets of question papers ready and then choose anyone amongst them. A teacher did not put in the effort and sent last year’s question paper to the exam. We will soon take disciplinary action against the teacher who made this deliberate error," RBSE secretary Kailash Chand Sharma said.
The RBSE Class 10 exam is being held from March 6 to April 4. The senior secondary exams will continue till April 7, 2025 in a single shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM. Students should at least secure 33 per cent in every subject to be declared passed. Anyone who fails to get even one mark below the minimum criteria will be counted as a failure and will have to take the compartment exam.
Last year, commerce was the best-performing stream with 98.95 per cent of students clearing the exam, 97.75 per cent of science stream students passing, and 96.88 per cent of arts stream students clearing the exam. In 2023, the pass percentage for the science stream was 97.39 per cent, the result for commerce was 98.01 per cent, and for arts was 92.35 per cent. The Rajasthan Board concluded the 12th Exam 2024 in early April. The RBSE held the Class 12 exams from February 29 to April 4, whereas the practical exams were conducted on February 15 to 20. Around 8,66,270 candidates registered for the Rajasthan board 12th exams last year.
