Caught On Camera: Drunk Man Beaten, Abused By Train Staff On Amritsar-Katihar Express
Videos shared widely on social media showed the TTE and a coach attendant kicking and stomping the passenger while abusing him.

A ticket examiner and a coach attendant assaulted a passenger on the Amritsar-Katihar Express after he allegedly attacked the travelling ticket examiner (TTE) in a drunken state. The passenger has been identified as Sheikh Tazuddin, a truck driver, who was travelling from Siwan in Bihar to New Delhi.
Videos shared widely on social media showed the TTE and a coach attendant kicking and stomping the passenger while abusing him. As per the passengers, the passenger had alcohol with two coach attendants – Vikram Chauhan and Sonu Mahato – in the M2 coach. Following this, he misbehaved with women travellers and attacked Vikram Chauhan as well as TTE Rajesh Kumar.

A co-traveller Dheeraj Yadav told the police that the coach attendant had taken money from the passenger and joined their liquor party. He said, “The coach attendant took money from the passenger and made pegs on the seat. After drinking, the passenger started misbehaving and the attendant called the TTE. During this, the passenger slapped the TTE."
Later, railway cops deboarded the drunk passenger in Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh and took the TTE into custody. The police registered a case against the two attendants and the ticket examiner and the Railways suspended TTE Rajesh Kumar.
