According to Abhishek, an animal expert and project manager at the Nature Environment and Wildlife Society, this chicken, weighing between 400 to 500 grams, is primarily kept for its ornamental value in India and other countries in the Americas and Europe. However, in countries like China and Japan, it is also reared for its meat, which is considered an exotic delicacy.
