Aaryan Shukla, a 14-year-old prodigy from Maharashtra renowned as the ‘Human Calculator’, will be among the star-studded list of speakers at the Rising Bharat Summit 2025, the fifth edition of the CNN-News18 marquee leadership conclave, to be held in New Delhi on 8–9 April.
Shukla has achieved international recognition for his extraordinary mental calculation abilities, setting multiple world records and redefining the limits of human cognitive potential. In February 2025, he broke an astonishing six Guinness World Records in a single day during an event in Dubai. His records include the fastest time to mentally add 100 four-digit numbers (30.9 seconds), mentally add 200 four-digit numbers (1 minute 9.68 seconds), and mentally multiply two eight-digit numbers (2 minutes 35.41 seconds), among others.

In addition to his Guinness achievements, Shukla has excelled at the Mental Calculation World Cup. At the age of 12, he won the overall competition in 2022, setting event records in multiplication and square roots. He defended his title in 2024, winning all five main contests and setting further records in multiplication, calendar calculations, and square roots — establishing himself as one of the fastest mental calculators in the world.
His journey into the world of mental mathematics began at the age of six. With a daily training regimen that extends up to six hours, coupled with the calming techniques of Sahaja Yoga meditation, Shukla has honed his extraordinary focus and mental resilience. His achievements are a result of rigorous discipline and an unwavering passion for numbers.
Despite his extraordinary achievements, Aaryan leads a balanced life, enjoying reading adventure and mystery novels, playing video games, and cricket. His parents, recognising his numerical talent early on, have been instrumental in ensuring he remains grounded while pursuing his passion for mathematics.
