The estate also features a tennis court, a children’s cottage with a playground, a chicken coop, a tea house and a separate two-bedroom guest house.
Revealing what made Meghan Markle and Prince Harry think the house was perfect for them, Meghan in a previous interview withThe Cutsaid, “One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was two palm trees, how they’re connected at the bottom. He goes, ‘My love, it’s us.’ And now, every day when Archie goes by us, he says, ‘Hi, Momma. Hi, Papa.’ We did everything we could to get this house. Because you walk in and go, Joy. And exhale. And calm. It’s healing. You feel free."
The former Suits actress shared that finding the right home for their new life wasn’t an easy task. While they were searching for a place in Montecito, US this particular house kept showing up online. At first, they avoided visiting the property because they didn’t have jobs at the time and weren’t considering such a massive property.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married in 2018 and initially stayed in an $18 million mansion in Beverly Hills, which was owned by filmmaker Tyler Perry. Later, they moved into their current home in Montecito, California.
