Ali Fazal’s Advice To New Mom Richa Chadha On Wanting To Give Up
Richa Chadha hinted that striking the perfect work-life balance takes a toll on her. The actress revealed that she sometimes feels like giving up.

New mom Richa Chadha has opened up about her parenting struggles. The actress welcomed a baby girl, Zuneyra with husband-actor Ali Fazal in July. On a par with their parental duties, the couple is equally focused on their professional commitments. They have jointly produced the film Girls Will Be Girls, which is streaming on Prime Video on December 18. Recently the first-time parents attended an event at IIT Delhi. During a conversation with the host, when Richa Chadha revealed that striking a work-life balance takes a toll on her, it was Fazal who encouraged her to be “relentless" to cope with the feeling.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal marked their presence at the fifth edition of SCREEN Live. When the host asked the pair how they overcame the urge to give up and keep pushing themselves forward, Richa had a hilarious reply. She said, “I have this point every six months to give up and start again." Her response prompted the crowd to erupt into a fit of laughter. Ali Fazal intervened saying, “You have to be relentless."

Previously, in an interaction with Zoom, Richa Chadha revealed that she wishes her daughter to be comfortable with her when she grows up. Elaborating on the topic, the Fukrey actress said, “I hope when my daughter grows up, she is frank, open, friendly and trusting with me." Chadha further highlighted that she shares a great bond with her own mother. She claimed that her mother had given her the utmost freedom. The actress expressed that she wants the same with Zuneyra. “My mother and I are pretty honest and practical with each other. She has given me freedom and I hope when my daughter grows up, she will be frank, open, friendly and trusting with me," said Chadha.
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal got married on October 4, 2022. The couple shared screen space in the 2013 film Fukrey, followed by its two sequels — Fukrey Returns and Fukrey 3.
Coming to their debut production Girls Will Be Girls, the film is helmed by Shuchi Talati. Kesav Binoy Kiron, Kani Kusruti and Preeti Panigrahi play key roles in the movie.
