Have Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh finally revealed their daughter Dua’s face to the world? Fans were left gushing when Ranveer and Deepika’s photos with a newborn baby went viral across social media platforms recently. Many fans believed that the baby in the photo was Dua, their daughter. However, the authenticity of the photos has not been verified.
In one of the photos, Deepika and Ranveer could be seen smiling as they looked at the camera. Deepika held a baby in her arms and fans presumed this was Dua’s photo. In another image, Deepika and Ranveer could be seen cradling a baby as they embraced each other.

The viral photos are doctored and were neither shared by Deepika nor Ranveer. In fact, if one were to compare the images, Ranveer’s beard looks different in two photos, further proving that they are fake. Deepika and Ranveer are yet to reveal Dua’s face to the world. While they are often spotted with the baby girl in Mumbai, they shield her face from the cameras.
Deepika and Ranveer welcomed Dua in September this year. They announced the news in a joint Instagram post that read, “Welcome Baby Girl! 8.9.2024." Deepika and Ranveer then shared the first glimpse of their daughter on Diwali, unveiling her name through an Instagram post showing Dua’s tiny feet. The couple has since kept their family life private, making Deepika’s return to public events even more cherished by fans.
Deepika has been on maternity leave since she welcomed Dua. A source told News18 earlier this year that she will be on a break until March 2025. “Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas," the source added. Back in August, we exclusively reported that Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2 will go on floors in January-February 2025. Next year, she also plans on beginning work on The Intern co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is currently shooting for Aditya Dhar’s next. He also has Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 in the pipeline.
