Dr Phil Thinks Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Kids Could ‘Wind Up’ In Foster Care
Dr Phil McGraw warned that if Kim Kardashian does not take legal action against Kanye West, authorities could step in regardless of their wealth.

American psychologist, author and television personality Dr Phil McGraw has raised concerns about the well-being of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s children, warning that they could potentially end up in foster care if their situation remains unstable. The former talk show host suggested that if Kim does not take legal action against Kanye, authorities might intervene—regardless of the couple’s wealth.
“If you need an emergency intervention, then you get an emergency intervention. What we don’t want is for these children to wind up in foster care because that system is broken," McGraw said in a recent interview on TMZ’s 2 Angry Men podcast.

McGraw dismissed the assumption that the billionaire status of Kardashian and West would protect their kids from the foster care system.
He explained, “If you think, ‘Well, with this kind of money, they’re not gonna wind up in foster care,’ well, that’s wrong."
“If the [Department of Children and Families] gets involved and thinks one parent isn’t reacting while the other is unstable, they will take them. Now, they’re likely to place them with family members rather than strangers, but you don’t want these children left hanging out to dry," McGraw added.
Kim and West were married from 2014 to 2022. They agreed to share joint physical and legal custody of their children when they finalised their divorce. But Kim is reportedly considering changing the agreement. This comes after West featured their daughter North on a song with rapper Sean “Diddy" Combs and his son, Christian “King" Combs, against her wishes. Sean is currently in jail for sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Their divorce agreement states that any conflicts regarding their kids must be addressed in a private hearing with a judge.
Kim also ended North’s visit with West when she learned that controversial figures Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, would be present. She reportedly does not want her four children around the Tate brothers who are also facing serious charges such as rape and human trafficking like Sean.
Earlier this month, West went on a lengthy rant on X (formerly Twitter), accusing Kardashian and the “Kardashian mob" of limiting his parenting abilities. He compared their current custody arrangement to “visitation" in “jail."
“Kim’s priority is the well-being and safety of her children and to protect them from being around Kanye’s controversial behaviour," a source told Page Six.
