Ed Sheeran dropped a throwback video from his tour in India and it featured his hired cab driver vibing to his song Azizam.
Ed Sheeran, known for his chart-topping hits, recently toured India as part of his record-breaking Mathematics Tour. After mesmerising audiences in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Shillong, he wrapped up the grand finale in Delhi-NCR. During his visit, he gave an Indian cab driver an exclusive preview of his unreleased song Azizam, and the driver’s reaction is now winning hearts online.
Ed Sheeran shared a video on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse of his vibrant Indian tour while subtly promoting his upcoming song Azizam. In the short clip, he is seen sitting inside a vehicle with his cab driver, listening to the energetic track. However, it was the driver’s enthusiastic reaction—vibing to the beats and grooving along—that stole the spotlight and captured the internet’s attention. “When I was touring India I played Azizam to my taxi driver who was taking me around the city. He was a whole vibe, big up Rakesh," the singer penned in his caption.

For those unaware, Azizam—inspired by Ed Sheeran’s love story with his wife, Cherry Seaborn—is set to release on April 4 under his own label, Gingerbread Man Records, with distribution by Warner Records. The track serves as the lead single from his upcoming eighth studio album, Play. Written and produced by Sheeran, the song also features contributions from Iranian-born Swedish songwriter and producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, Northern Irish musician Johnny McDaid, and American songwriter Savan Kotecha.
After Ed Sheeran’s video surfaced on the newsfeed, his fans and friends from the industry started flooding the comments section of the post. Savan Kotecha wrote, “Rakesh got the moves!!!"
