Shah Rukh Khan’s 1998 film Dil Se is still one of his most memorable movies. Recently, actor Gajraj Rao shared a funny story from the set, where director Mani Ratnam warned him to be careful during a scuffle scene with Shah Rukh. But Shah Rukh helped Gajraj feel more comfortable and encouraged him to perform freely.

Gajraj recalled a scene where he played a CBI officer chasing Shah Rukh’s character. In the scene, he had to push Shah Rukh against a wall. During rehearsals, he accidentally pushed him too hard. Gajraj said that after the rehearsal, Mani Ratnam pulled him aside. He recounted, “In the scene we chase Shah Rukh and we catch him. Then I hold his collar and push him to the wall. After the rehearsal, Mani Ratnam took me aside and said, ‘Shah Rukh is a hero, he is a star. We need to complete this film. You can’t do this. Don’t push him like this.’"
