Panchayat is a comedy-drama centered around Abhishek Tripathi, an engineering graduate who, faced with limited career options, becomes the secretary of a panchayat office in a remote Uttar Pradesh village called Phulera. There, he befriends the village chief’s husband Pradhan ji, Vikas and Prahlad. Unknowingly, he clashes with two prominent characters of the village – Banrakas and Binod. The show takes a sharp turn in storyline, pacing towards a more serious edge towards the end of Season 2.
In the upcoming season, viewers can expect Abhishek, Pradhan Ji, and the residents of Phulera to tackle fresh challenges, including resistance from the local politician Chandu, a budding romance between Abhishek and Rinki, and other quirky new adventures.
