Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in King, an action-packed drama directed by Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh. The film promises high-octane thrills combined with an emotional core that SRK described as “a story I’ve wanted to tell for years".
The film is being produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix, with filming expected to take place in India and Europe. Originally scheduled to begin in March 2025, the shooting has been slightly delayed and is now likely to start in June 2025. Sources close to the project revealed that Siddharth Anand is fine-tuning the script to ensure that King exceeds the high standards set by Pathaan and the YRF Spy Universe. Fans eagerly await the film’s release, which is slated for late 2026.
