Sikandar Box Office Day 5: Salman Khan’s Eid Release Crosses Rs 90 Cr Mark, Witnesses Slight Drop
After a strong opening, Salman Khan’s Sikandar faces a box office slowdown, earning Rs 5.75 Cr on day 5 amid stiff competition.
Salman Khan’s Sikandar opened to strong numbers at the box office but has seen a steady decline in collections. On its fifth day, the film earned an estimated Rs 5.75 crore in India across all languages, bringing its total India net collection to Rs 90 crore in its first week, according to Sacnilk.com.
By Tuesday, the film had amassed Rs 74.50 crore in India, while its worldwide collection stood at Rs 123.75 crore. The overseas market played a significant role, contributing Rs 88.75 crore.

The makers had earlier celebrated Sikandar grossing Rs 105.89 crore worldwide in just two days. However, despite a solid opening, the film has faced hurdles, including online leaks and mixed critical reviews.
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the action-packed film features a star-studded cast, including Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, and Sharman Joshi. The story follows Salman’s character, Sikandar, on a relentless mission to seek justice and protect the three individuals who received organ donations from his late wife.
However, Sikandar is up against tough competition at the box office. Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava and Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan are pulling audiences to theaters, making it a fierce battle for footfalls.
Ahead of its release, Salman Khan had urged moviegoers to support not just Sikandar but also the other big releases this week. “I am hoping people get good bonuses on Eid so they can watch Sikandar, Mohanlal sir’s L2: Empuraan, and also Sunny Deol’s new film (Jaat). Three big stars are coming with big films, and I hope all work," he said.
With its box office momentum slowing, it remains to be seen whether Sikandar can regain its pace or continue to face challenges in the coming days.
