Sparsh Shrivastava’s role of Sunny in Jamtara, followed by Deepak in the critically acclaimed Laapataa Ladies etched his name in the list of talented young actors. Currently riding on the success of his latest release Dupahiya, the actor recently captivated everyone with his impromptu dance performance at Social Nation 2025. A video of his energetic moves, capturing his skills also surfaced online, leaving fans in awe and amused.
It showcases an enthusiastic Sparsh taking to the stage, dancing to Dupahiya’s song Photua. The actor completely owned it with his outstanding skills, setting a full-blown vibe at the event. In an all-black ensemble, the talented star mesmerised everyone with his performance, proving his talent beyond just acting.

Last seen in Dupahiya, Sparsh Shrivastava is now gearing up for its second season. The first season of the light-hearted series, which premiered on March 7 on Amazon Prime Video, stars Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi.
Given its success, Prime Video India confirmed Dupahiya Season 2 last month with a quirky video on Instagram featuring the show’s lead cast. The announcement clip opens with the group singing, “Aave laa Dupahiya," as Bhuvan Arora hilariously interrupts, asking, “Kya aavela aavela, aa to gaya hai aur kitna aayega?" Sparsh also makes an entry, cheekily responding, “Fir se aa raha hai bey, aur tum na ee hamri khushiyon pe zyada paani mat fera karo, panauti ho tum."
Gajraj Rao adds his signature humour as he quips, “Dupahiya nahin tum dono ka jo zabaan hai na vo highway pe nikal raha hai, sambhalo, break lagao uspe…gaana gao…vaapas aavela hai Dupahiya." In its caption, the makers added, “Koi daatega nahi na? Kyunki humne Dupahiya Season 2 mangwa liya hai."
Last year brought immense recognition for Sparsh Shrivastava for his performance as the protagonist in the Kiran Rao directorial Laapataa Ladies. The film also stars Pratibha Ranta and Nitashi Goel as they play brides who get exchanged during a train journey, setting the stage for the intriguing storyline and thought-provoking drama.
