Varun Dhawan Has A New Way To Unwind After Hectic Filming Schedule, Check Out

Varun Dhawan has a packed schedule these days. The Bollywood star has not three films in the pipeline, and he has been simultaneously working on those. Given his busy schedule, the 37-year-old decided to hit the pause button and indulge in a rejuvenating therapy session. Varun, who is an avid social media user, took to his Instagram account to give his fans a glimpse of his relaxation routine.
On Friday, March 28, the Student of the Year actor posted a picture on his Instagram stories with only his legs visible as he lay down on a massage bed. The photo revealed that Varun was undergoing cupping therapy, an ancient healing method used for relieving pain. Adding a playful touch to the picture, the actor wrote, “Such fun" over it.

Just days back, Varun took to his Instagram account to reveal that he wrapped up the Rishikesh schedule of his upcoming film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Pooja Hegde. While they marked the beginning of their shooting by performing Ganga aarti, they completed their schedule by jumping into the river. In a playful video shared by Varun, he and Pooja held hands and jumped into the river together, marking the end of their shoot in Rishikesh. The romantic comedy is directed by David Dhawan.
With Ishq Sona Hai track from Biwi No 1 playing in the backdrop, the 37-year-old wrote, “Jaawani hai toh jump marna hai!! #haijaawanitohishqhonahai #rishikesh wrap (sic)." Varun and Pooja were reportedly in the city for a 3-day schedule.
Apart from Varun and Pooja, the Ramesh Taurani production will also feature Mrunal Thakur, Sreeleela, Kubbra Sait and Maniesh Paul, among others. The film will reportedly hit the theatres in the second half of 2025.
Other than Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Varun also has Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in his kitty. Directed by Shashank Khaitan and helmed by Karan Johar, this romantic film will also see Janhvi Kapoor opposite Varun. Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra and Maniesh Paul will be in the supporting roles. While the film was supposed to be out by next month, it has now been postponed to September 12, 2025.
Moreover, the 37-year-old is also set to play an intense role in Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, it will feature Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. Border 2, a sequel to the 1997 patriotic film Border, will be released on Republic Day 2026.
