Hrithik Roshan To Make Directorial Debut With Krrish 4, Fans Think THIS Is How He'll Act And Direct Simultaneously
Rakesh Roshan revealed through an Instagram post that Hrithik Roshan will be directing Krrish 4 with Aditya Chopra backing the project.
Hrithik Roshan’s fans have jumped on the Ghibli fever that has taken the internet by storm recently, and we absolutely can’t keep calm. The actor’s fans decided to bring his most iconic character, Krrish, into the whimsical world of Ghibli. In a fun post on X, Hrithik’s fan club shared a clip where Krrish, all decked out in Ghibli style, is seen doing an action sequence and then quickly getting behind the camera to take charge as the director.
If you didn’t know, the OG director Rakesh Roshan has officially passed the Krrish mantle to his son, Hrithik Roshan. The actor, who has been the face of the franchise since the beginning, is now stepping into the director’s shoes for the next installment.

The video offers a fun behind-the-scenes peek at Krrish 4, which shows how Hrithik is all set to juggle both roles like a pro.
Fans naturally took to the comment section to share their excitement for the Ghibli-style clip. One user wrote, “This video is hilarious and sweet. Also, I can’t believe we finally have something concrete for Krrish 4." A fan expressed, “Really excited to see Hrithik The Director in Krrish 4." “Hahahhahaha. LOVE IT!!! Too cool this is," someone remarked while a person commented, “On point bro."
In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Rakesh explained that Hrithik has been deeply involved in the Krrish franchise since its inception and is more than ready to take the story forward.
“I am passing the baton of the director of Krrish 4 to my son, Hrithik Roshan, who has lived, breathed and dreamt about this franchise since its inception with me. Hrithik has a clear and very ambitious vision of taking Krrish’s journey forward with the audience for the next decades," he said.
“Krrish has entertained audiences the world over, and Hrithik will now reveal the next chapters of this superhero saga and take the vision I created so many years ago to greater heights," he added.
Krrish 4 is currently in pre-production stage and set to start filming in early 2026.
