The period drama offers a compelling story set in pre-independence India. It follows the narrative of a skilful horse rider, played by Ajay Devgn, who flees the ruthless English troops. The scenario develops when his horse goes missing, compelling him to embark on a perilous quest with the assistance of a young man, played by Aaman Devgan. Rasha will play a member of a royal family, while Diana Penty will play Ajay’s romantic interest. Azaad, directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, blends action and emotions.
Ahead of the film’s release, a dance number from it, Uyi Amma, has created a lot of buzz. The music video featuring debutants Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgan is being loved by the audience.
