Studio Ghibli AI images have become popular, giving ChatGPT 1 million users in a day and now these features are coming to you for free.
OpenAI is bringing the Studio Ghibli image generation feature to all the ChatGPT users, even those using the AI chatbot for free. Sam Altman confirmed the update earlier on Tuesday, giving more people the chance to try out the viral Ghibli-style artwork that has become the talk of the town in the last few days.

OpenAI has been battling huge demand for these image tools since its release in March, and making it available for free will only add up to its stress, which is already melting the GPUs at an unprecedented rate.
ChatGPT 4o Image Ghibli Style For Free: What You Should Know
ChatGPT 4o image generation tool is simple and it works as advertised. It is compatible with the ChatGPT mobile app and the web version that is available on popular browsers like Chrome, Edge and Safari among others.
– Open ChatGPT on web/mobile
– Login with your account
– Create image with more text prompt
You can tap on the three-dot menu and click on Create images which generates the prompt and gives you the option to add more context to the image you want the AI chatbot to create in Ghibli style.
You just need to login with a Google account or create one with ChatGPT to try out the new features. Once you do that, the ChatGPT interface will open on the screen which looks like this:
Studio Ghibli Images On ChatGPT 4o For Free: Is There Any Catch?
The free AI model on ChatGPT 4o does support image generation, however, Altman is forced to put some limits just so that people consider paying for the feature and the AI service. The free tier ChatGPT users can generate three images per day which might not sound like a lot but that’s the whole point of keeping it free, so that OpenAI can get more people to pay the $20 (Rs 1690 approx) per month that offers more benefits.
Even then, the company is building an armoury of GPUs with its vast investment to attract more people with features like Ghibli style photos, which many have pointed out raises bigger copyright concerns which OpenAI is already contesting on multiple fronts.
