As Ashley Clair Claims She's Mother Of Elon Musk's 13th Child, Here's All About Tesla CEO's Family
Elon Musk has found himself at the centre of a deeply complex personal life.

Elon Musk’s ever-complicated personal and family life is in the spotlight again, this time involving Ashley St. Clair, a conservative social media influencer. Claire has claimed she is the mother of the tech mogul’s 13th child.
Clair, 26, was miffed that Musk wasn’t responding to her private texts. She claimed that she faced threats and harsh criticism from Musk’s supporters. While Musk has remained mostly silent on the matter, choosing not to confirm or deny the paternity claims, the fallout is now in the open. In fact, a heated social media spat between the two has further added fuel to the fire.

After a post about how Clair allegedly spent years trying to “trap" Musk, the Tesla CEO responded simply with the word, “whoa," which seemed to stoke even more public debate.
Clair then accused Musk of avoiding her and responding only to online smears, which quickly spiralled into a flurry of public commentary, reports The New York Post.
In an earlier interview with The NY Post, she revealed that she gave birth to their son last fall and described Musk as “down to earth," adding that he wanted to keep their child’s existence under wraps for safety reasons.
Musk has long been open about his desire for a large family, often flaunting his bond with his son X Æ A-12, whom he shares with pop star Grimes.
X Æ A-12, also known as Lil X, has frequently appeared by his father’s side at high-profile events, becoming something of a media darling. Whether accompanying Musk to the inauguration of President Donald Trump or making waves in the Oval Office, the 4-year-old seems to have a knack for stealing the spotlight. Another key figure in Musk’s personal life, Shivon Zilis, a high-ranking executive at Neuralink, has also made public appearances with Musk and their children, reinforcing the intricate web of Musk’s family life, informs The New York Post.
Over the years, he’s been known to father at least 12 children with various women, creating a sprawling family tree filled with tangled relationships. His first child, Nevada Alexander, was born in 2002 with ex-wife Justine Wilson, though tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old. Musk would go on to father five more children with her, including twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Damian, Kai, and Saxon.
Vivian, his daughter, made headlines in 2022 when she came out as transgender and legally changed her name, removing Musk’s surname. Musk’s reaction to her gender identity was reportedly complicated, even accusing her of holding left-wing views based on her education.
Musk’s romantic history includes a highly publicised, on-and-off relationship with actress Amber Heard, following their meeting at the Met Gala in 2016. Musk later described the brief romance as “brutal" and “mind-bogglingly painful." In 2018, he began a relationship with pop star Grimes, which resulted in the birth of their son X Æ A-12 in 2020. The couple has since expanded their family with two other children—Exa Dark Sideræl, born in 2021, and Techno Machinus, born in 2023.
In 2021, it was revealed that Musk had fathered twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his company Neuralink. In 2024, Zilis gave birth to a third child, though the child’s name and sex have yet to be publicly disclosed.
According to The New York Post, while the drama with Claire continues to unfold, his posts on X have largely been about his latest venture—his chatbot, Grok. Still, Musk has been open about his desire to combat what he sees as a global “underpopulation crisis," even jokingly referring to his expanding family as a “side quest."
Meanwhile, in a sign of his commitment to his growing brood, Musk reportedly purchased a 14,000-square-foot mansion in Austin, Texas, along with adjoining properties for two of his children’s mothers. As for Ashley St. Clair? She might just be the newest chapter in Musk’s epic family drama, as the public eagerly watches what will happen next in this never-ending story.
