Man Who Attended India’s Got Latent Reveals What Ranveer Allahbadia Said To Contestant After ‘Sex With Parents’ Joke
Ranveer Allahbadia asked a contestant on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent if he would have "sex with parents". His question sparked outrage and led to multiple FIRs. The Supreme Court heard his plea today.

A Mumbai audience member from the latest episode of Samay Raina’s now-deleted YouTube show India’s Got Latent has revealed what Ranveer Allahbadia said after his controversial joke, which led to multiple FIRs across the country. Mohit Khubani, 18, revealed that Allahbadia repeatedly apologised to the contestant and asked if his “sex with parents" question had made him uncomfortable.
After he won the “pointless reality show", Allahbadia even walked up to the stage and hugged him in an attempt to defuse the situation.

“This is what happened in that episode of India’s Got Latent. It’s fully unfiltered," said Khubani on Instagram. He even shared a video explaining what truly transpired, adding that he “might delete it later".
“I know this is not my regular content, but I wanted people to know what exactly happened in that episode. I don’t want my favourite creators getting hate for no reason because half of the people don’t even know what happened in that episode like they make sure that kid was comfortable while they make jokes," Khubani said in the defense of the panellists.
Allahbadia’s controversial ‘sex with parents’ question
“Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?" asked Ranveer Allahbadia to a contestant on India’s Got Latent. He even went as far as asking the same contestant about the length of his p****.
The question even caught Raina off guard, despite his reputation for dark humour. “What the f***?" he reacted. Raina was even heard asking, “Kya ho gaya hai Ranveer bhai ko? [What has happened to Ranveer?]"
Outrage, apology and deletion of show
Ranveer Allahbadia’s question irked the entire nation as they demanded the show to be banned in India. It also led to multiple FIRs against the show’s host Samay Raina and guest judges YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, comedian Jaspreet Singh, YouTuber-Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia and content creator Apoorva Mukhija, who is popularly known as The Rebel Kid.
As the backlash intensified, Allahbadia apologised for his questions and remarks and admitted a “lapse of judgement" on his part. Samay Raina removed all the episodes from his YouTube channel.
“Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," Raina said.
SC grants Allahbadia interim protection from arrest
Allahbadia approached the Supreme Court seeking to consolidate the multiple FIRs filed against him in relation to the out-of-line question.
Advocate Abhinav Chandrachud, representing Allahbadia, told SC that Allahbadia has been receiving death threats. In response, the apex court sharply questioned, “We would like to know that in this country if this is not obscenity then what is?"
The court expressed strong disapproval of the language used, stating, “Do you subscribe to the language that he has used? What is the parameter of obscenity? There is a height of irresponsibility. They believe that since they’ve become popular they can say anything. There’s dirt in his mind. Why should the court favour such a person?"
Justices Surya Kant and N Kotiswar Singh heard the case and granted interim protection from arrest to the YouTuber-podcaster.
