Watch: MrBeast Unlocks Secrets Of The Great Pyramids In A 100-Hour Expedition
MrBeast received special permission to shoot content inside the pyramids of Giza. He shared a 21-minute-long video, detailing his experience.

Months after revealing his plan to “lease" the Great Pyramids of Giza for a special project, YouTube sensation MrBeast shared a 21-minute video. The American content creator documented his 100-hour experience inside the ancient wonders. He was granted exclusive access to explore restricted areas, including the mysterious Tomb of Osiris. He even hid $10,000 (over ₹8 lakh) worth of gold inside the Sphinx, a structure believed to be a hidden temple filled with gold.
In the video, MrBeast begins his journey by exploring the chamber of King Khafre, where the pharaoh was believed to have been kept after his death. His adventure then leads him to the partially submerged tomb of Osiris, affected by rising water levels and geological shifts. Along with his fellow creators, he attempts to dive into the underworld but ultimately fails to uncover its secrets, forcing them to return to base camp. Later in the video, he locates the Sphinx and, after manoeuvring through a narrow passage, manages to slip inside. There, he plants $10,000 worth of gold along with a handwritten letter.

MrBeast was accompanied by Dr Zahi Hawass, an Egyptian archaeologist who guided him along the way. As the video progresses, the group explores the tomb of Iymery which is completely illegal for people to go in. Hawaa even took the group to show skeletal remains from the older periods, followed by locations where only experts and researchers are allowed.
At the end of the video, MrBeast was taken to the highest hidden chamber which they stated was accessed by only 50 people in the past 500 years. The group was stunned to find a chamber filled with bats.
Following controversy over MrBeast’s claim to be renting the great Pyramids of Giza, Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities clarified that the YouTuber did not privately pay rent to shoot inside the pyramids but was granted special permission to film. They also explained that the YouTuber has been filming a series of short movies inside the area which the state approved in a bid to shed light on the archaeological area and its secrets.
The video has gone viral with followers left amazed by MrBeast’s latest adventure. Some even dubbed it as the “coolest" video so far.
