Heart-stopping moment at Jhansi Railway Station after a dog trapped under a moving train survives unscathed.
A dog, possibly of a golden retriever breed, fell into the gap between a moving train and the platform at Jhansi railway station. The incident which was filmed by someone has since gone viral on social media.
In the video, the dog’s owner is seen hurrying to board a departing train and is captured attempting to lift the dog up and place it towards the entry door which is when it slips and falls between the gap.

According to reports on local news media outlets, the man traveling with his family and pet dog got off the train at Jhansi, possibly to attend to the animal’s needs.
But when he attempted to reboard, the train started moving and neither he nor the dog was unable to jump back in, falling into the narrow gap between the train and the platform.
Railway officials said the train guard pulled the emergency chain after being alerted to the situation. The dog was rescued and found to be unharmed. The family, along with the pet, resumed their journey on the same train.
The video has sparked widespread discussion online, with many users expressing shock and relief over the dog’s survival.
But many social media users also lashed out at the owner for not paying adequate attention and expressed their concern in the comment section of an Instagram post where the video was shared.
“Is that dog okay," asked one Instagram user who goes by the username baghadbilli.
Instagram user Shriya Bopanna called for strict enforcement of station laws while blaming the owner.
Other Instagram users rushed to the comment section to let people know that the dog was safe and did not suffer any injuries.
