2025 MG Astor Launched In India At Rs 9.99 Lakh, Check Top Updates

The leading car maker JSW MG Motor has launched the updated version of Astor. The 2025 avatar has been released at the starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh, while the top model goes up to Rs 17.56 lakh (all ex-showroom). The company has already started taking bookings for the same, while delivery will kickstart soon.
The latest Astor comes with slight nip-and-tuck updates, making it better as compared to the 2024 version. To make it more superior and attract more customers, the company has rebranded the vehicle, and given it a new tagline called “Blockbuster SUV".

Talking about the biggest change, MG Astor has been removed from the 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the range. Now, it is available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit. It generates a maximum power of 109 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque. The power source is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
The improved version gets a new Shine variant, which comes with slight updates from both inside and outside. It has been priced at Rs 12.48 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers an impressive panoramic sunroof, six airbags as standard, and fully LED and DRL treatment at both ends. trim onwards.
Interior
Inside, the new Astor offers an Ivory interior theme, available across variants. Talking about some new notable features, the list includes an improved infotainment system with all the wireless car connect technology, front ventilated seats, i-Smart 2.9 Advanced UI and a premium interior. The other trending features remain unchanged and have been carried forward in the latest offering.
