IndiGo, Akasa Air To Stop Operating From Delhi Airport's T2, Set to Operate From T1, T3 Only

According to the reports. the decision has been taken due to the maintenance work at the terminal 2.

The budget carrier IndiGo is all set to stop all operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport’s T2. According to the reports. the decision has been taken due to the maintenance work at the terminal 2. The airline now will be flying either from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, starting from April 15.

While confirming the news, IndiGo in an official statement said all the Delhi T2 flights now will be taken care of from or shift to Terminal 1 until further notice. The company also hinted the customers to expect schedule changes for the flights, asking the passengers to check the status before reaching to the airport.

    The company in an official statement said, " “While notifications are being sent to registered contact details via Email and WhatsApp, we’re also appending a list of flights that are being reassigned on our website, so you have all the information you need at your fingertips."

    IndiGO is not the only airline that is shifting its operations from Terminal 2. The leading airline Akasa Air, which usually operates from T2, is also gearing up to change the operation of Delhi flights from Terminal 1 (1D). The company has already confirmed the news regarding the same.

    Meanwhile, the Delhi airport authorities have been putting efforts to upgrade Terminal 1 to tackle all the operations. The terminal is now fully operational, and all set to operate all the Delhi flights from April 15.
