Indore Metro Set To Roll Out With Free Rides In Its First Week; Check Fares, Routes, & Time
In its initial phase, the Indore Metro will run between Super Corridor and Gandhinagar Station Number Three.
The much-awaited Indore Metro is finally gearing up to begin operations. The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has fast-tracked preparations for the launch on the city’s Super Priority Corridor.
All arrangements including staff, ticket counters, and other infrastructure are in place across the five key metro stations in the Super Priority Corridor. The Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety has already given the green signal after thorough inspections.

Route and Timings
The first phase of the metro will run between Super Corridor and Gandhinagar Station Number Three.
- The metro will operate from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Around 50 trips will be made daily
- A train will run every 30 minutes, with adjustments depending on passenger demand.
Fare Zones Explained
The Indore Metro fare system is divided into five zones with a total of 28 stations. Here’s how much you’ll pay after the first free week:
- Zone 1 (1–2 stations) – Rs 20
- Zone 2 (3–5 stations) – Rs 30
- Zone 3 (6–8 stations) – Rs 40
- Zone 4 (9–11 stations) – Rs 50
- Zone 5 (12–14 stations) – Rs 60
- 15th station to last – Rs 80
