Ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025 match between Afghanistan and Australia in Lahore on Friday, here's a look at top performers and record holders in four 50-over matches played so far between the two teams.

Australia will face Afghanistan in the last Group B match of the Champions Trophy 2025 on Friday, February 28. The must-win match for both the teams is scheduled to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Afghanistan secured a narrow win by eight runs over England in the last match played at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday, February 26, whereas Australia’s last match against South Africa got washed out due to rain in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, February 25.

The Aussies, however, have won one match in Lahore this year. The Steve Smith-led side chased down the target of 352 runs against England in the tournament opener played on Saturday, February 22.
