Fans Chant 'Kohli Ko Bowling Do' During Delhi's Ranji Trophy Match, Video Goes Viral | Watch
In several videos going viral on the internet from Day 1's play of the ongoing Delhi-Railways Ranji Trophy Elite Group D match, fans can be seen making special requests to see Virat Kohli in action as a bowler.

Star Indian batter Virat Kohli is playing for Delhi in the ongoing Ranji Trophy match against Railways. The Elite Group D match between Delhi and Railways kicked off at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday (January 30). More than 15,000 fans have gathered at the iconic stadium in Delhi to watch Kohli play his first Ranji Trophy match since November 2012.
The fans who came in huge numbers to watch Kohli bat, however, were left a bit disappointed on Thursday after Delhi captain Ayush Badoni invited Railways to bat first in the must-win match for both the teams.

After their hopes of watching Kohli bat in the first session of the first day’s play were dashed, fans present at the Delhi stadium started chanting “Kohli ko bowling do" at the top of their voices. Several videos of fans requesting Delhi captain Badoni to use Kohli as a bowler are going viral on the internet.

Kohli, who is primarily a batter, has three wickets to his name in 155 first-class matches played so far. He has never dismissed any batter in Tests for India but has five wickets to his credit in 295 ODIs and four wickets in 125 T20Is played so far.
Kohli picked up his last wicket for India in international cricket during the 2023 ODI World Cup match played against the Netherlands at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 12, 2023. In that match he accounted for the dismissal of Dutch captain Scott Edwards. Edwards was caught behind by KL Rahul after making 17 runs from 30 balls. Kohli finished that match with figures of 1 for 13 runs in three overs.
Flying start for Delhi
In the seventh Elite Group D match against Railways, Delhi made a strong start and picked up three wickets for just 21 runs in three overs. Anchit Yadav (7), Vivek Singh (0), and Suraj Ahuja (14) were sent back to the pavilion inside the first half hour by Siddhant and Navdeep Saini, but after that Upendra Yadav and Mohammad Saif added 45 runs for the fourth wicket to lead Railways’ fightback.
Money Grewal removed Saif and BH Merai in back-to-back balls to put pressure back on the Railways team, but since then, Upendra has added more than 70 runs for the sixth wicket with Karn Sharma.
