Kuldeep Yadav was seen giving a cheeky send-off to the Bangladesh batter, Towhid Hridoy during the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 clash in Antigua.
Kuldeep Yadav was at his immaculate best during the T20 World Cup 2024, Super Eight, Group 1 clash between India and Bangladesh that took place in Antigua on Saturday.
The left-arm wrist-spinner was crucial in India securing their fifth consecutive win in the tournament and thus putting them in a very probable scenario of progressing through to the semi-finals.

During the game, however, the spinner when he got the wicket of Towhid Hridoy seemed to be giving off an intimidating stare at the batter. He even went up close to the batter pointing his finger, gesturing out.

Kuldeep was vital with the ball for the Indian team to help secure the win. He took three wickets in the middle stages of the second innings to help India secure the win by 50 runs.
His wickets included the likes of Tanzid Hasan who had a solid start and was looking to tee off, Hridoy who has been known to have an explosive brand of batting and the experienced Shakib al Hasan to put Bangladesh’s chances of chasing down the target to rest.

While Kuldeep starred with the ball, it was Hardik Pandya who was the pick of the Indian batters scoring a quickfire 50 in 27 balls to help India post a target of 197 runs. His power-hitting resulted in the Indian team getting back in front as the Bangladesh bowlers were decent through the initial and middle stages of the first innings.

The Men in Blue continue their unbeaten run of five consecutive wins in the tournament. Barring the game against Canada which got washed out, India managed to secure wins in all their games thus resulting in a dominant start to their campaign.
Now the Indian team will look ahead to the highly anticipated contest against Australia where Kuldeep Yadav who is expected to retain his spot in the side, will hope to provide the Indian team with more key wickets.
