IPL 2025 Points Table:

Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a 12-run triumph over Mumbai Indians on Monday in the clash between the sides at the Wankhede in Mumbai to pick up their third win of the season. RCB consolidated third place in the standings with the win as they took their tally to six points in the campaign, while MI were condemned to yet another heartbreaking defeat at home to remain eighth in the table.

RCB notched up a total of 221/5 in 20 overs, riding on half-centuries from captain Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli, while Jitesh Sharma chipped in with an unbeaten 40 run knock. MI put up a fight but ultimately ended up short of the target as Tilak Varma’s fifty and Hardik Pandya’s rampage went in vain, with Krunal Pandya, Hardik’s older brother, wrapping the game up for RCB against his former side with a four-wicket haul.

Unbeaten Delhi Capitals lead the rankings with three wins in as many games and an exceptional NRR to go with their six points, and are followed by Gujarat Titans, who also have as many points as DC, but have played an extra game.

Punjab Kings, holders Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals occupy the places from four through seven with 4 points each and are separated based on NRR alone. It is notable that Punjab have played just thrice this season yet, one fewer than the other three teams on the same points.

Chennai Super Kings, who have just a solitary win in four outings this season, occupy the penultimate position in the standings, with Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have one win in as many as five games, sit at the very bottom of the table.
