Rohit Sharma-led Team India won all five matches in the 2025 edition of the Champions Trophy, which was played across three venues in Pakistan and one in Dubai from February 19 to March 9.

India beat New Zealand on Sunday (March 9) to win the Champions Trophy 2025 title. In the final played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, India first restricted the Black Caps to 251/7 after Mitchell Santner opted to bat first and then chased down the 252-run target in 49 overs for the loss of six wickets. Captain Rohit Sharma hammered 76 runs from 83 balls to finish as the leading run scorer in the summit clash, and No. 4 batter Shreyas Iyer scored 48 runs with the help of two fours and as many sixes.

For his superb batting performance in the summit clash, Rohit won the Player of the Match award. The win in the final on Sunday helped India become the first team in history to win three Champions Trophy titles.

    It was India’s second ICC trophy under Rohit’s leadership, and once again he won the tournament with a 100% win record.

    In the Champions Trophy 2025, Indian team management used 12 players, and all of them, in some way or other, made a significant contribution.

    Here’s a look at how Indian stars performed in the Champions Trophy 2025:

    Rohit Sharma—180 runs

    Rohit Sharma scored 180 runs in five matches for Team India. In the summit clash, he hammered 76 runs from 83 balls, for which he also won the POTM award.

    Shubman Gill—188 runs

    World No. 1 ODI batter Shubman Gill scored 101 runs in the first match to help the Men in Blue chase down the target of 229 runs against Bangladesh and secure a big win by six wickets. But he failed to maintain his performance in the next four matches and finished the tournament with 188 runs to his name.

    Virat Kohli—218 runs

    Kohli remained unbeaten on 100 runs from 111 balls in the high-voltage match against Pakistan and hammered 84 runs from 98 balls against Australia in the first semifinal. The 36-year-old finished the tournament with 218 runs.

    Shreyas Iyer—243 runs

    With 243 runs to his name in five matches, Shreyas Iyer finished as India’s leading run scorer in the Champions Trophy 2025. After getting out for just 15 runs in the first match against Bangladesh, the right-handed batter from Mumbai scored 56, 79, 45, and 48 runs in the next four fixtures.

    KL Rahul—140 runs

    KL Rahul came out to bat in four of five Champions Trophy 2025 matches for India and scored 140 runs. He remained unbeaten on three occasions and finished the tournament with a batting average of 140.00. In addition to that, he also took six catches behind the wickets and completed one stumping.

    Hardik Pandya—99 runs and 4 wickets

    Hardik Pandya scored 99 runs and picked up four wickets for India in five Champions Trophy 2025 matches. His best performance with the bat was 45 runs from 45 balls against New Zealand in Dubai on March 2.

    Axar Patel—109 runs and 5 wickets

    Axar Patel was used as a No. 5 batter by Indian team management in the Champions Trophy 2025, and the Gujarat-based cricketer impressed with his batting performances. He also picked up five wickets with an economy of 4.35.

    Ravindra Jadeja—27 runs and 5 wickets

    Senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja scored the winning runs for India in the Champions Trophy final. He finished the tournament with five wickets and also scored 27 runs in three innings.

    Varun Chakaravarthy—9 wickets

    In just three matches for India, mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy picked up nine wickets. In his maiden Champions Trophy debut against New Zealand, he finished with figures of 5/42 in 10 overs.

    Kuldeep Yadav—7 wickets

    Kuldeep Yadav played all five matches for Team India in the Champions Trophy 2025 and picked up seven matches. He dismissed three Pakistani batters in the Group A match played on February 23, and in both the matches against New Zealand, he managed to take two wickets.

    Mohammed Shami—9 wickets

    In five Champions Trophy 2025 matches of Men in Blue, Shami accounted for the dismissal of nine batters, which includes figures of 5 for 53 in 10 overs against Bangladesh on February 20.

    Harshit Rana—4 wickets

    Harshit Rana played two matches for Team India in the Champions Trophy 2025 and picked up four wickets. In the match against Bangladesh, he finished with figures of 3/31, and against Pakistan, he dismissed one batter for 30 runs.
