Trent Boult Breathes Fire, Picks 2 Wickets On SA20 Debut | Watch
Trent Boult got the wickets of Zak Crawley and Tom Abell in a brilliant new ball spell.

New Zealand veteran Trent Boult contributed with a breathtaking spell on his SA20 debut for MI Cape Town. Featuring in the inaugural match of the season, Boult picked two wickets while giving away 16 runs in three overs.
Thanks to his dominant bowling, MI Cape Town restricted Sunrisers Eastern Cape to 77 and secured a 97-run victory in the campaign opener.

Boult almost got Crawley’s leg stump in the first over as his full-length delivery passed through the gap between the bat and pad, beating the inside edge. The Kiwi pacer returned in the third over and bowled a maiden with two wickets.
Crawley failed to score on the first three deliveries and then attempted a big slog across the line but got baffled by the low bounce. The ball sneaked under his bat and crashed into the off-stumps.
Abell was sent packing for a golden duck. The right-hander mistimed a drive down the pitch and ended up being caught by Boult himself.
Despite having some quality middle-order batters in the team, Sunrisers Eastern Cape could not recover. Captain Aiden Markram managed 19 runs while Tristan Stubbs and Marco Jansen scored 13 and 14 runs respectively.
The reigning champions were ultimately bundled out in the 15th over.
Delano Potgieter finished as the best bowler for MI Cape Town. The South African all-rounder bowled three overs and bagged a five-wicket haul for 10 runs. Azmatullah Omarzai and George Linde scalped one wicket each.
Earlier, Sunrisers skipper Markram won the toss at St. George’s Park and asked their opponents to bat first. MI Cape Town lost three wickets early when Dewald Brevis rescued them with a blistering half-century.
The 21-year-old struck 57 runs off 29 balls, hitting two boundaries and six maximums. Potgieter also made a crucial contribution with the bat. He remained not out at 25 and helped MI Cape Town breach the 170-run mark.
