Several clips going viral on social media show Indian supporters confronting Khalistani supporters near the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Indian cricket fans reportedly confronted a group of pro-Khalistani supporters who had gathered outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the venue of the fourth Test between India and Australia that got underway on Thursday. The group was brandishing pro-Khalistani flags and reportedly didn’t have tickets for the match as they raised anti-India slogans.
They local police reportedly removed the pro-Khalistani supporters after they were confronted by the Indian cricket fans.

“…I don’t think any limelight should be given to them…Whatever they do, I think it’s not worth it. They are just 5-10 people who have been born and brought up here. They have never been to Punjab and doing this nonsense agenda for themselves. Let’s just not give any limelight to them," News agency ANI quoted a fan outside the venue as saying.
Meanwhile, the penultimate Test got off to a rollicking start with Australian debutant Sam Konstas hitting an entertaining half-century. The 19-year-old belted 60 off 65 during an innings that saw him taking Jasprit Bumrah to the cleaners. Konstas was also involved in a heated altercation with India batting superstar Virat Kohli after the latter shoulder bumped the debutant.
