The Assam board class 12 or Higher Secondary (HS) final examinations will be held from February 13 to March 17, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced. The exams will begin with the English paper and conclude with Anthropology, Sociology, Salesmanship, and Advertising papers. The HS practical examinations will be held from January 29 to February 10.
The HS exams will be held in two shifts — the first one from 9 am to noon and the second one from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. As per the official notice, students will get ten extra minutes to read the question paper. This means candidates in the morning shift can start reading the question paper from 8:50 am to 9 am and those in the afternoon shift can do so from 1:20 pm to 1:30 pm following which they can start writing the answers.

The Assam class 12 exams 2024 were held from February 12 to March 13, this year and the results were announced on May 9. This year’s pass rate for the Assam board class 12 Exam is 88.64 per cent. The science stream recorded a pass rate of 90.29 per cent, while the arts and commerce streams recorded pass rates of 88.24 per cent and 88.28 per cent, respectively.
Meanwhile, the SEBA will conduct the Assam class 10 examination from February 15 to March 3, 2025. Students appearing for the tests can check and download the date sheet through the official website, site.sebaonline.org. The practical exams will be conducted from January 21 and 22, 2025.
