Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola Reveals Erling Haaland Out For Up To Seven Weeks
Haaland sustained the injury following a collision with Bournemouth's Lewis Cook, after having equalised for his side in the last-eight cup fixture.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola revealed that he might have to go up to seven weeks without the services of star striker Erling Haaland after picking up an injury during the Mancunian side’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth in the FA Cup quarterfinal on Sunday.
Haaland sustained the injury following a collision with Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook, after having equalised for his side in the last-eight cup fixture.

“They told me the doctors between five and seven weeks, so hopefully at the end of the season we can be ready," Guardiola said.

Guardiola added that while he does not have a like-for-like replacement for Haaland, who has found the back of the net 30 times in all competitions this season, he would have to adapt to the scenario with the season curving into the home stretch.
“We don’t have another player with his skills or his specific qualities. We know that, but we have to adapt," the Spaniard said.
Guardiola touched up on times his side has had to deal with similar situations and recollected that his unit have successfully navigated ways out of challenging junctures.
“For many years we have played in different ways up front," he explained
“It depends on the quality of the players. We are going to try to find a solution," he assured.

Premier Leguue defending champions Manchester City have had to endure a difficult season as they stand fifth in the table with 48 points from 29 outings this campaign. The holders have won 14 games while losing 9 times. The remaining six assignments have ended in a draw.
City take on Leicester as the PL returns after the international break and will look to pick up a win in a bid to gather momentum ahead of their clash against cross-town rivals Manchester City at the Old Trafford.
