3 Passengers Kept Refusing Air Hostess’s Meal Service, Arrested At Delhi Airport
An air hostess noticed three passengers behaving suspiciously. While others accepted meals, they refused and remained unusually still throughout the flight

A gold smuggling operation was foiled after three passengers on board a flight from Almaty aroused suspicion by repeatedly refusing an air hostess’s offer of meal service.
During the three-and-a-half-hour Indigo Airlines flight 6E-1802, the air hostess noticed suspicious behaviour from three passengers. Despite the late-night hour, most passengers accepted meal services. However, these three individuals refused any offerings and remained unusually still throughout the journey.

Concerned by their actions, the air hostess attempted to offer them tea and water, but each time, her gestures were met with abrupt refusals. Growing increasingly suspicious, she alerted the flight captain, who promptly contacted customs officials through air traffic control.
Upon landing at Delhi’s IGI Airport at approximately 1:30 a.m., customs officers were ready to intercept the three passengers. Despite clearing the green channel, they were stopped for questioning, and their baggage was X-rayed. Although nothing was initially found, further inspection using a Door Frame Metal Detector (DFMD) also yielded no results.
Undeterred, customs officials escorted the trio to a private room for interrogation. It was during this questioning that all three individuals confessed to concealing gold pieces within their rectums. A subsequent search resulted in the recovery of eight pieces of gold, weighing approximately 439 grams, from the suspects.
As a result of their actions, all three passengers were arrested and taken into custody.
