Advocates Clash Outside Sales Tax Office In Ghaziabad, Woman Lawyer Injured | Video
Two advocates reportedly clashed over a client outside the Sales Tax Office in Ghaziabad, which resulted in the woman lawyer - who held two men by their collars - getting injured.
A violent clash broke out between several advocates including a woman lawyer on Tuesday outside a Sales Tax Office within the jurisdiction of Sahibabad police station in Ghaziabad.
The fight was caught on camera where the woman lawyer was seen holding the collars of two men, and she slapped and kicked them as well. After she slapped one of the men, he retaliated and assaulted her with another person. Chaos erupted as another advocate and some people tried to intervene.

The viral video also showed that the woman was injured with bloody bruises visible on her face. The police arrived upon learning of the incident and brought both parties to the station.
The Hindon Police Commissionerate took note of the situation and directed Ghaziabad police to take action. “The above case is in the knowledge of the local police. Action is being taken under section 173 (3) BNSS after receiving a written complaint from the victim regarding the incident," it said in an X post.

Nimish Patil, DCP Trans-Hindon, told the Times of India that both groups came to the GST office with their respective clients, but a heated argument was exchanged between them over a client, which escalated into a physical altercation.
“Immediately, a police team reached the spot after getting information about it. Both parties filed complaints against each other with the police. The police stated that further action will be taken after an investigation," he said.

The Congress slammed the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government over the incident. “In Ghaziabad, goons brutally beat up a female advocate. In which she was badly injured. Women cannot enjoy safety and peace in any corner of ‘crime-ridden Uttar Pradesh’. When such an incident can happen with a female advocate, then what will happen to common women?"
