A 45-year-old IT professional was killed in a road rage incident in Navi Mumbai's Kharghar after being attacked with helmets by two unidentified men following a dispute over overtaking.

A 45-year-old man was killed in an incident of road rage in Navi Mumbai’s Kharghar. The deceased was identified as Shivkumar Roshanlal Sharma, who was beaten up by unidentified men on a two-wheeler after he reportedly overtook them.
The incident happened at nearly 8.30 pm on Thursday when Sharma was returning home on his two-wheeler from Vashi.

As he approached the road Belpada and Utsav Chowk, he allegedly overtook some men on a bike, which led to an altercation between them.
Sharma was attacked by helmets by the assailants, believed to be in their early 20s.
The accused fled the spot after attacking Sharma, who worked as an IT professional.
There was no information on whether the accused were arrested.
