Olympic medallist and international shooting star Manu Bhaker’s maternal grandmother and uncle died in an accident in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri, news agencies said in a report.
The incident took place when a car and a scooty collided on Mahendragarh Bypass Road in Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, resulting in the deaths of people on the two-wheeler, the police said.

The police officials said that Bhaker’s relatives were travelling on the two-wheeler which rammed into a car. The driver of the car is absconding and is yet to be found.
Recently, Bhaker was awarded the prestigious Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award by President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
