An attempted theft turned awry wrong when the thief decided to steal a kiss from the owner of the house after failing to find any valuables.

The incident occurred when a thief broke into a flat in the Malad area of Mumbai and kissed the woman after not finding anything worthy of stealing, as reported by India Today.

    Police Arrest Accused For Robbery And Molestation

    Later, the police arrested the accused on charges of attempted robbery and molestation.

    The 38-year-old woman claimed that on January 3 she was all alone at her home when the robber forced himself inside the flat and locked the door from inside.

    He then covered the woman’s mouth and asked her to hand over all the valuables, which included cash, mobile phones, and ATM cards.

    The woman then explained to the robber that she did not have any such items after which the thief unexpectedly kissed her and ran away.

    Later, the woman went to Kurar Police Station where the police registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The same evening police arrested the accused who lived in the same locality.

    According to the police officials, the man did not have any prior criminal record. He was living with his family and was currently jobless.
