Telangana continues to grapple with a heatwave, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad to issue a yellow advisory for the city and its surrounding areas. Temperatures in parts of the state, including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, and Mancherial, are expected to be in a range between 36 and 40 degrees Celsius. Hyderabad itself recorded a high of 36.3 degrees Celsius in Musheerabad.
Residents of Hyderabad can expect partly cloudy skies until February 27, with misty or hazy conditions expected in the mornings. Monday’s forecast for the city includes a daytime temperature of 28.65 degrees Celsius, an expected minimum temperature of 20.53 degrees Celsius, and an expected maximum temperature of 32.24 degrees Celsius. Other notable figures include a relative humidity of 26% and a wind speed of 26 km/h, Moneycontrol reported.

Hyderabad’s temperature is predicted to range from a minimum of 18.93 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 32.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, with humidity levels at 27%.
From February 24 to 26, minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures will reach approximately 34 degrees Celsius. From February 27 to March 2, the minimum temperature is expected to rise slightly to 21 degrees Celsius, with maximum temperatures holding steady at 35 degrees Celsius.
Delhi Weather
In Delhi, the IMD forecast predicts light rainfall in New Delhi beginning February 26, offering potential relief from rising temperatures.
The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 10.7 degrees Celsius on Monday morning, one degree below the season’s average. According to the IMD, the maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 27 degrees Celsius and partly cloudy sky is expected in the city during the day.
Bengaluru Weather
Bengaluru has experienced higher than normal minimum temperatures this year. While the IMD clarified that this doesn’t necessarily indicate a shift in seasonal patterns or an early summer, the meteorological centre warned that warm weather will likely persist for over a week.
N Puviarasan, head of the Bengaluru Met Centre, said the presence of easterly winds in the atmosphere is behind the warm temperature in the India’s IT hub.
“Usually around this time of year, Bengaluru experiences northeasterly winds, which are cooler. However, a change in anticyclonic movement in the Bay of Bengal has led to easterly winds blowing towards southern parts of India," he said as per Deccan Herald.
Mumbai Weather
Mumbai recently recorded temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days. The meteorological department, however, dismissed concerns of a heatwave and predicts continued hot weather in the coming days.
