Kareena Kapoor Turns Heads In A Vintage John Galliano Newspaper Print Blazer And Skirt Ahead Of IIFA 2025
Kareena Kapoor arrived in Jaipur for the 25th edition of the IIFA Awards. For her appearance, she sported a newspaper print John Galliano blazer and skirt set.
Ahead of the 25th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), Bollywood celebrities have started to arrive in Jaipur. Amidst the plethora of celebrities who have landed in Jaipur for IIFA is Kareena Kapoor. Trust Kareena to turn any platform her runway and she did exactly that. For her appearance in the Pink City, Kareena donned a newspaper print vintage John Galliano blazer and skirt set.
Taking to her social media, Kareena Kapoor shared a series of stylish pictures of herself in the printed ensemble as she entered her private jet. She struck some playful poses in her jet as she exuded her main character energy. Sharing the pictures, Kareena wrote, “Self love… Happy women’s day & hello @iifa."

For her look in Jaipur, Kareena Kapoor opted for John Galliano’s Gazette Print Blazer and Skirt from the spring/summer 2005 collection. She styled the ensemble with a stylish black Hermes Birkin bag. The co-ord set came with a newspaper print fitted and well-structured blazer. The print consisted of a collage of real and fictional headlines. The blazer featured studded buttons on the bodice. She paired the blazer with a matching midi-length skirt. Kareena elevated her look with knee-high leather boots.
The actor was styled by Rhea Kapoor. Talking to Vogue India about why she feels Kareena was the right pick for this outfit, Rhea said, “She knows more than anyone else what it’s like being in the eye of the storm and wears it like a crown." For the accessories, Kareena opted for a pair of black sunglasses and diamond rings and earrings. For the makeup, she kept it simple and minimal. She went with a fresh and dewy base and added a sweep of blush for a rosy flush of colour. She styled her hair in loose waves and hit the bullseye with her look.
