On March 20, the Bandra Family Court officially granted the choreographer and her ex-husband, Yuzvendra Chahal, a divorce after months of separation rumours. The former couple has maintained silence about their personal life and is trying to move on with immense dignity and respect. Recently, Dhanshree took to her Instagram handle and shared a sneak peek into her new fitness motivation. In the photo, she is seen setting new fitness goals on social media. Her dedication to health and fitness has moved her fans.

Of late, Dhanashree has been facing criticism from social media users after her divorce. However, ignoring the negative responses, she has bounced back with her recent music video, Dekha Ji Dekha Maine. Backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the song features Verma as a woman betrayed by her husband. Sung by Jyoti Nooran and composed by Jaani, the viral track’s lines caught fans’ attention, who started finding parallels with Dhanashree’s personal life with lyrics like, “Dekha ji dekha maine, apno ka rona dekha. Gairon ke bistar pe, apno ka sona dekha (I saw my people crying. I saw my own sharing a bed with others)."
Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal, who got married in December 2020, were reportedly living separately for 18 months before their divorce. Confirming the development, Chahal’s advocate, Nitin Kumar Gupta, told ANI, “The court has granted the divorce, and both parties are no longer husband and wife."
Meanwhile, there were many rumors regarding the alimony amount, with some reports suggesting a figure of Rs 60 crore. However, Dhanashree’s family reacted to these wrong speculations, saying, “No such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumors whatsoever." Later, a Bar and Bench report confirmed that the alimony amount was Rs 4.75 crore, and Chahal has already paid Rs 2.37 crore.
