Kajol also took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable photo with Ajay. On the work front, Ajay Devgn is all set to reprise his role as the no-nonsense IRS officer Amay Patnaik in the upcoming sequel, Raid 2. The teaser, unveiled last week, generated major buzz online, setting the stage for a gripping follow-up packed with high-stakes drama and corporate crime.
Raid 2, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and written by a powerhouse team including Ritesh Shah, Karan Vyas, and Jaideep Yadav, promises to raise the stakes. The sequel follows Amay Patnaik’s 75th raid—this time against a powerful tycoon named Dada Bhai, played by Riteish Deshmukh. The film also features Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Yashpal Sharma. Fan-favorite Saurabh Shukla reprises his role as Tauji, the fearsome don from Sitagarh.
Backed by Panorama Studios and T-Series, Raid 2 is set to hit cinemas on May 1, 2025—aligning with International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day, and primed to deliver a big-screen spectacle.
The actor also has Dhamal 4, De De Pyaar De 2 and Son Of Sardar 2 in his kitty. The shoot is going for all three currently.
