An extended version of Pushpa: The Rule released today

Good news for all Pushpa fans! Allu Arjun is back in theatres today, January 17, 2025, and this time it’s all about Pushpa: The Rule – or, rather, a new version of it that has a little more than usual to offer. The sequel that hit the big screens today got a fresh cut with a cool 20 minutes of extra footage. Naturally, Allu Arjun is absolutely buzzing about it.

In a recent social media post, the actor shared his excitement with his fans. Allu Arjun shared a special poster of Pushpa 2 on X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “Bringing you #Pushpa2Reloaded Version from today. Hope you all have a new experience with this one."

Mythri Movie Makers, the production house of Pushpa 2, also confirmed that they have delivered the new content to theatres. They also mentioned that they will replace the Hindi and Telugu versions of the film.

Ever since Pushpa: The Rise took the world by storm in 2021, fans had been eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil released in theatres on December 5, 2024. The massy action blockbuster broke several records at the box office. Pushpa 2 became the first dubbed version to join the Rs 800+ crore club in Hindi and it also crossed the Rs 1800 crore mark worldwide.

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, had a runtime of around 3 hours and 20 minutes. With the extra footage, the new runtime is around 3 hours and 40 minutes.

So, if you thought you had already seen all there is to Pushpa’s world, think again. Today’s release promises extra moments from the film.
