Amitabh Bachchan To Bring Ramayana Alive As Narrator On JioHotstar’s Ram Navami Livestream | Watch Teaser
Amitabh Bachchan will narrate Ram Katha on Ram Navami on April 6. The livestream on JioHotstar will include rituals, aartis, and performances by artists like Kailash Kher.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan will narrate Ram Katha on the occasion of Ram Navami on April 6. The special live stream will start as early as 8 am and will go on until 6.30 pm. Bachchan will narrate the timeless tales of the Ram Katha, covering the seven kands of the Ramayana.
A promo of the same was unveiled by the makers on April 4. In the video, Amitabh Bachchan highlighted Lord Ram’s enduring legacy with his powerful rendition: “Yugon-yugon se iss dharti par, kitne janme, kitne aaye, Unn sabhi mein bass ek wahi kyun ‘maryada purshottoam’ kehlaye." The livestream will also include sacred rituals and live aartis from revered sites such as Ayodhya, Bhadrachalam, Panchvati, and Chitrakoot. Adding to the festivities will be captivating performances by artists like Kailash Kher, Malini Awasthi, and Palak Muchhal.

The veteran actor will also lead an interactive session with children, presenting select stories and verses from the Ramayan kands in his own captivating and relatable style.
