Ananya Panday Is Mighty Impressed With Superboys Of Malegaon, Gives ‘Buddy’ Adarsh Gourav A Shoutout
Ananya Panday urged people to go watch Reema Kagti’s film Superboys Of Malegaon in theatres. She lauded Adarsh Gourav, Muskkaan Jaferi and other actors’ brilliant performance in the film.

Reema Kagti’s film ‘Superboys Of Malegaon’ released in theatres last month, and garnered great reviews from critics. The film, starring Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, Anuj Singh Duhan and others has also left Ananya Panday in awe! The actress took to her Instagram account to share her review of the film, revealing that she absolutely loved the cast’s performances. She gave a special shoutout to her ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ co-star Adarsh Gourav, and ‘Call Me Bae’ co-actor Muskkaan Jaferi, and urged people to catch the film in theatres.
On Saturday, Ananya Panday shared a poster of Superboys Of Malegaon on her Instagram stories, and wrote, “Nothing like experiencing the magic of movies At the movies With the whole audience clapping, whistling, laughing and feeling every beat (red heart emoji). You must RUN to the theatres and watch this one." Lauding Adarsh Gourav and Muskkaan Jaferi, she wrote, “My buddy- you can literally do anything and everything @gouravadarsh. Extra hugs for my volcano of talent @muskkaanjaferi." She also praised producers Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, as well as writer Varun Grover for the brilliant film.

Superboys of Malegaon is based on the documentary film Supermen of Malegaon, written and directed by Faiza Ahmad Khan. The plot of the movie revolves around the lives of the residents of Malegaon, a city in Maharashtra, and their unwavering passion for filmmaking.
The film features Adarsh Gourav as Nasir, Vineet Kumar Singh as Farogh, Shashank Arora as Shafique, Muskkaan Jaferi as Shabeena, Saqib Ayub as Irfan, Anmol Kajani as Nadeem, Anuj Singh Duhan as Akram, Riddhi Kumar as Mallika, and Gyanendra Tripathi as Nihal. The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival on 13th September 2024. It was released in theatres on 28th February, 2025.
