Fans were treated to a sweet surprise when Anupam Kher hosted an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit. The veteran star got candid in his answers speaking about films, personal anecdotes and other topics. On Thursday, February 6, Anupam Kher posted a picture of himself on Reddit announcing the Q&A session. The picture showed the actor holding a placard in his hands that mentioned the details of the discussion. The caption said, “Hey it’s me Anupam Kher, ready to take your questions. Ask me anything." Two questions posed by two fans led to interesting revelations.

One Reddit user asked, “What drives you every day to do your work?" To this Anupam Kher had a befitting reply. The actor disclosed that he came to Mumbai almost 4 decades ago with only Rs 37 in his pocket. He was grateful to god for all his achievements and it served as a motivation for him to give his best.

    Another Reddit user wanted to know, “Which is the most difficult role for you to play to date?" Anupam Kher confessed that he finds English-language films or series “difficult". He replied, “There are various types of difficulties one faces as an actor, as they keep changing over a period of time. Like the difficulty is very different when I am doing an English language series or film, I find it difficult because I think in my mother tongue which is Hindi."

    On a concluding note, Anupam Kher admitted that he focuses more on being “brilliant" at something than “competent". Justifying his opinion, the film veteran wrote, “Because I believe, competence is the biggest enemy of brilliance."
